This position is remote-based, and candidates must reside within a specified distance from the service area to effectively support our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently assess and resolve technical, electrical, or mechanical challenges with fitness machines and entertainment systems; perform routine maintenance.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients and sales associates, positioning yourself as a reliable service consultant while proactively addressing service needs during visits.
  • Organize daily tasks and schedules to optimize service delivery, focusing on metrics such as daily tasks, resolution times, and first-time fix rates.
  • Travel within your assigned area, primarily using a company vehicle, to meet service objectives effectively.
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts, manage service stock replenishment, oversee the handling of exchanged components, and ensure the company vehicle is kept in excellent condition.
  • Document service records accurately and report equipment issues encountered in the field, submitting expense reports promptly.
  • Participate in installations and regional exhibitions.
  • Adhere to Life Fitness Health & Safety protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in technical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of fitness equipment or similar products.
  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory; an Associate's degree in electronics or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt swiftly, manage multiple tasks, and excel in a remote, deadline-oriented environment while being part of a dynamic, geographically diverse team.
  • Expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting electro-mechanical, networking, and audio/visual technologies, with a solid understanding of WiFi connectivity, power electronics, and both AC and DC power systems.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Oracle or similar ERP systems is advantageous, along with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Physical capability to lift and transport equipment, with the ability to stand, bend, or kneel for extended periods.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential, along with the ability to pass background checks and drug screenings. Willingness to travel frequently is required.
