We are seeking a highly skilled Oncology Pharmacist to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in the treatment of cancer patients.
Key Responsibilities- Review and monitor patient plans to ensure they align with current clinical and institutional guidelines.
- Identify treatment issues and medication misuse, and work with clinicians to optimize patient care.
- Assess medication orders to ensure they meet established standards and practice guidelines.
- Provide expert advice on drug selection and dosing to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in educational activities and answer drug information questions to support the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of New Jersey.
- At least one year of experience in a specialized area, such as oncology, or completion of a PGY-1 pharmacy residency.
