POSITION SUMMARY
The Environmental Compliance Analyst is tasked with ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and the effective management of our company's environmental initiatives as mandated by various governmental agencies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate the organization and maintenance of environmental programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Keep regulatory reporting platforms updated for various agencies (CERS, TRUCRS, DOORS, LSI, PERP, AQC, etc.).
- Evaluate and revise SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure) plans for all company locations, coordinating necessary updates with external consultants.
- Oversee the validity and expiration of Hazardous Waste Tank and Secondary Containment Assessment Documents, working with third-party consultants for updates and renewals.
- Submit Annual EPA ID Number Verification Questionnaires to relevant agencies for all company sites.
- Provide Annual Throughput Forms to applicable locations for various air quality management districts.
- Participate in workshops and board meetings hosted by CARB/Local AQMD/other organizations to stay informed and influence environmental legislation.
- Collaborate with Caterpillar and other manufacturers to support product development and address product-related issues.
- Act as the liaison for our company regarding Caterpillar's Product Emissions.
- Assist in assessing corporate environmental management practices to identify opportunities for sustainable improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Support various environmental projects as business needs arise.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of five years of relevant environmental experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with emissions regulations in conjunction with local and state air quality management districts.
- Knowledge of Non-RCRA Hazardous Waste management requirements as per California DTSC and Federal EPA regulations.
CERTIFICATIONS
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands for this role include the ability to use hands and fingers for handling objects and tools, and the capacity to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
