The RN Clinical Nurse is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic clinical environment.
As a RN Clinical Nurse, you will practice in accordance with the WellStar Professional Practice Model, 5-Star Nursing, and evidence-based practice and research. You will be expected to uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implement the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.
You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients, families, and significant others. Your expertise will be essential in promoting a healthy work environment, supporting service excellence goals, and upholding the voice of the patient.
Responsibilities- Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care using evidence-based practice.
- Use analytical and critical thinking skills to ensure that care is individualized and coordinated through effective partnerships.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics.
- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care that promotes the professional care delivery model.
- Participate in performance improvement, research, and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care.
- Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses to ensure a current and future qualified workforce.
Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
Required Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred National certification in area of specialty.
Experience with direct patient care.
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
Optimize the use of technology to support clinical care.
Basic computer skills.
Excellent time management skills.
