Location: 100% Remote

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Talend Developer to join our team at Mondo. As a Senior Talend Developer, you will play a key role in supporting ETL/Talend team operations and working with an existing setup to modify queries and solve issues.

About the Role:

  • Support ETL/Talend team operations at a leading consulting firm
  • Work with an already existing set-up - role focused on modifying existing queries and solving issues (vs new development)
  • Monitor ETL production, checking if the jobs are running successfully
  • Support operational tasks as assigned by the Data Ops team and Talend/ETL side
  • Tasks can include - ETL tasks to add fields to tables, changes to logic for one specific field
  • The task will be discussed by the team, logic will be given to the developer and then coding executed
  • Work with SQL scripts
  • Support high volume days (beginning of month and mid-month) - financial close dates, high volume of requests and issues/tasks
  • Between will help with making manual operations more efficient/automated
  • Helping support operational information for deployments
  • Utilize templates & existing processes around communication with internal stakeholders and teams

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience in End-to-end experience in regard to SQL & Talend
  • Recent Talend experience
  • SQL - able to troubleshoot SQL - write/edit complex queries
  • Soft Skills: strong communicator, able to work under minimal supervision/guidance, problem-solving mentality, team player, always wanting to learn, wants to take initiative & collaborative
  • Bachelor's degree required
