Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team at LUKE. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality primary care services to our patients, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a full range of primary care services, including routine check-ups, acute and chronic condition management, and preventive care.
- Conduct thorough medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide education to patients on healthy lifestyle choices and disease management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
- Master's degree in Nursing or Bachelor's degree in Nursing with certification as a Physician Assistant.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant.
- Experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a primary care setting, with a minimum of 12 months of experience within the preceding 24 months.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in a military or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of electronic health records and practice management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
