About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Manager to join our Institutional Client Service team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial part in supporting the day-to-day sales and research efforts across Consultant Relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Consultant Relations Directors in building and deepening relationships with institutional investment consultants.
  • Deliver high-quality service to institutional investment consultants, responding to requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Gain a clear understanding of Consultants and their clients' servicing requirements and act as a resolution point for outstanding issues.
  • Conduct thorough meeting preparation, researching consultant firm in advance of each meeting, producing pre-meeting memos, and finalizing meeting materials.
  • Coordinate all meeting follow-ups, liaising with internal teams to ensure consultant needs are met.
  • Partner with internal teams to respond to Requests for Proposal/Information, Due Diligence Questionnaires, and Portal requests.
  • Coordinate/schedule meetings and conference calls with consultants as needed.
  • Leverage the firm's intellectual capital and maintain marketing interests to proactively distribute collateral as available.
  • Partner with client service teams to ensure accurate consultant records are maintained in SalesForce.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Marketing, and an excellent academic record.
  • Track record of outstanding performance and achievement.
  • 2-5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Results-orientated self-starter who can quickly understand client/consultant needs and focus on commercial delivery.
  • Good organizational skills, ability to manage own priorities and meet hard deadlines.
  • Ability to network and develop long-term relationships with clients/consultants and internal partners.
  • Technical knowledge and/or genuine interest in the Institutional market, asset classes, and associated competitive landscape.
  • Belief that client is first and the ability to influence and lead others to prioritize in that way.
  • Ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; experience with Preqin and eVestment a plus.
