Position Description:


IDS is currently seeking a Financial Analyst with a background in Department of Defense (DoD) or government financial management processes, as well as expertise in government financial and accounting systems, acquisition and budgeting processes, and relational databases. This role involves providing on-site support and training to a government client.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Serving as a financial and technical advisor for DoD program management and financial management software
• Offering specialized knowledge in government finance
• Assisting clients in effectively structuring financial data
• Conducting reconciliations across multiple systems
• Performing daily reviews of forecasts and accounting data
• Providing comprehensive support to a government financial office.

Knowledge and Skills:


This position necessitates a minimum of three (3) years of experience in government acquisition, finance, financial management, program management, or a related field within a Department of Defense organization.

Experience with CCaR or Navy ERP is highly desirable.

Education and Work Experience:


A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business management, engineering, computer science, mathematics, economics, or a related discipline is required for this position.

Experience may be considered in lieu of education if the individual possesses six (6) or more additional years of equivalent technical training or work/military experience.

Physical & Mental Qualifications:

• Ability to sit, type, hear, see, and speak for extended periods.
• Consistent work and typing on a computer for prolonged durations.
• Capability to communicate accurate information and ideas clearly.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 15 lbs.
• May be required to navigate within an office to access files, supplies, etc.

Security Clearance:


Selected applicants will undergo a Federal background investigation and must meet additional eligibility criteria for access to classified information or materials.

Travel:

Some travel may be necessary.

Hours:

Normal work hours may vary, Monday through Friday. Additional hours and/or weekend work may be required to meet deadlines or fulfill travel obligations.

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $95,000 per year


The estimated salary range provided is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job posting and may be subject to change in the future.

When determining an applicant's compensation, various factors are considered, including but not limited to:

geographic location, relevant prior work experience, relevant training, special skills/competencies, education, clearance, licenses/certifications, labor categories/contract rates, and other business needs.


IDS offers a comprehensive benefits package, including employer-paid health, dental, vision, disability, AD&D, and life insurance plans for eligible employees.

Additionally, IDS provides a variety of elective plans for eligible employees, including flexible spending accounts, voluntary life insurance, and supplemental insurance options.

Benefits become effective on the first of the month following the start date of employment unless starting on the 1st of the month, in which case benefits are effective immediately upon the eligible employee's start date.

IDS offers eligible employees eleven (11) paid holidays, generous PTO accruals starting at three (3) weeks per year, and a 401(k) safe harbor contribution upon eligibility.
