As a key member of our Medline team, you will play a vital role in delivering life-saving medical products to our customers. Our fleet of 1,500+ trucks features newer equipment, and we manage a network of over 50 distribution centers nationally, providing 1-day shipping to 95% of the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Load and secure medical products from our facility into a truck, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Safely operate a Class A vehicle between our facility and multiple customer destinations, adhering to Medline's safety regulations and wearing necessary safety equipment.
- Unload and deliver products at customer facilities, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Communicate with our dispatching team to adjust delivery routes or schedules as needed to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
- Maintain accurate travel and cargo logs in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
- Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels.
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Class A CDL and ability to operate assigned vehicle.
- Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for commercial motor vehicle operation.
- Clean driving record with no serious violations.
- Home daily with our local routes, prioritizing work-life balance.
