At Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a Certified Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and promoting the well-being of our residents.
- You will provide daily support to the unit leadership and respond promptly to resident and family needs within your scope of practice
- You will use your nursing skills and judgment to prioritize tasks and deliver quality direct resident care
- You will administer standard nursing treatments and medications, and observe residents for desired or unwanted effects
- You will communicate and collaborate with the care team to revise and update the Nursing Care Plan or any pertinent findings
- You will monitor and document vital signs, treatments administered, and residents' responses
- You will prepare, organize, oversee, monitor, and evaluate the delivery of care for resident CNA assignments and activities
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Licensed and currently registered in good standing in New York as an LPN
- Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care
- Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health
- Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes challenging residents
- Have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills
- Work well under pressure and willing to work harmoniously with all staff
