About the Role

This position involves processing a variety of customer account transactions quickly, accurately, and confidentially. A Client Service Specialist provides an exceptional banking experience to customers by building relationships and offering appropriate products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cash handling functions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, payments, transfers, and check cashing.
  • Balance cash drawer and client service specialist transactions.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of new and existing products and services.
  • Discuss and access customers' financial needs to identify and offer appropriate products and services.
  • Secure against loss by ensuring safekeeping of money in the cash drawer and prompt accounting or transfer of funds.
  • Identify fraudulent activity.
  • Perform and support daily tasks that maintain the integrity of the branch, including balancing the ATM, processing night drop, balancing negotiable instruments, processing returned mail, balancing the credit card machine, and monitoring lobby rate sheets and brochures.
  • Support referral goals for the branch by identifying and referring basic bank products to the appropriate business partner.
  • Provide an extraordinary customer experience.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of experience as a client service specialist.
  • Bilingual skills, preferred.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced cash handling environment.
  • A professional demeanor at all times.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • The ability to pass Client Service Specialist training programs.
  • The ability to develop and maintain working knowledge of Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
  • May be required to back up operational duties of the personal banker and/or assistant manager.
  • Building capabilities to identify relationship-building opportunities, such as outbound telephone calls to customers.
  • Provide basic guidance to less experienced client service specialists when needed.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

This is a fully onsite role.

Our Benefits

The pay range for this role is $22.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
