Overview:
Amazon is in search of a seasoned finance expert to join our Corporate Financial Planning & Insights team as a Finance Manager. This pivotal role collaborates with various stakeholders in Finance, Accounting, and Legal to support the provision of financial data for legal and regulatory matters, serving as a crucial link among teams.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Accounting stakeholders to address requests that involve financial data, ensuring alignment on strategies and stakeholder engagement.
2. Ensure that responses to Legal inquiries and the final deliverables uphold Amazon's high standards for quality and accuracy.
3. Work alongside the Finance technology team to enhance internal tools and systems.
4. Occasionally assist with specific Legal requests by coordinating data extraction, drafting summary documents, and managing approval processes.
5. Develop a comprehensive understanding of Amazon's core financial reporting, leveraging this knowledge to educate stakeholders and guide decision-making.
6. Create effective training materials and conduct training sessions for Finance teams.
7. Establish reporting and communication channels to keep leadership informed about ongoing activities in this area.
8. Advocate for targeted process and technology enhancements that promote efficiency, quality, and effective controllership.

Qualifications:
Basic:
- Bachelor's degree
- Over 5 years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field
- Background in various finance and accounting roles
- Proven ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies
- Experience in presenting findings to senior leadership

Preferred:
- MBA or CPA
- Familiarity with Oracle, Essbase, TM1, and similar platforms
- Proficiency in advanced Excel for ad hoc analysis
