Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Provide education to patients and families on post-surgical care and procedures
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Ohio nursing license
  • Two years of RN nursing experience or one year critical care experience
  • ACLS certification
  • BLS certification
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound judgments
  • Accountable for demonstrating Summa Health's service excellence standards

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to exert force when needed
