Job Overview

Reach Truck Driver

We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck Driver to contribute significantly to our logistics operations within the food distribution sector.

The Reach Truck Driver will manage all tasks related to product handling in a designated cooler area. Responsibilities include fulfilling orders, storing products, loading and unloading shipments, and ensuring a tidy work environment. Additionally, the role involves maintaining proper product rotation and promptly reporting any discrepancies.

POSITION DETAILS

This is a full-time role with a starting wage of $16 per hour. The scheduled hours are Monday to Friday from 6am to 2pm.

  • Efficiently pick produce orders and place them in the appropriate cooler
  • Ensure correct storage and rotation of products
  • Load and unload shipments
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for storage and order fulfillment
  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area
  • Report any quality concerns to the appropriate personnel
  • Assist in order picking and delivery processes
  • Conduct equipment maintenance and report any issues
  • Collaborate with supervisors and managers as necessary
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in warehouse or produce operations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Basic understanding of warehouse protocols
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Knowledge of handling perishable goods
