Job Title: Warehouse Forklift Operator

At Canon U.S.A., Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our electric-powered industrial truck equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move products, equipment, and materials within the warehouse.
  • Deliver materials to production areas in a timely manner to ensure that production standards are met.
  • Locate and retrieve materials and supplies by pulling and verifying orders and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Verify bill of lading on product tags and load materials, install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent damage while in transit.
  • Safely move, load, and unload product to and from pallet racks and deliver product to the correct storage bays or bins.
  • Read orders and/or follow oral instructions to meet scheduled activities as directed.
  • Receive materials and verify against packing lists to ensure the accuracy of the delivery.
  • Assist in physical inventories and maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of forklift experience.
  • Experienced operating power tool equipment, including cherry pickers, reach trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
  • Previous experience with material handling is required.
  • Must know how to properly operate a forklift.
  • Working knowledge of scanning equipment, internal database tracking systems, dollies, and carts.
  • Must successfully pass all CBPS Safety Training and equipment handling procedures.
  • Basic computer skills.
