  • Plan, organize, and direct the work of professional and paraprofessional dental staff, adhering to agency policy and procedures.
  • Schedule work and individual treatment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Consult with subordinate dentists on problem cases involving acute dental conditions.
  • Coordinate dental services with other clinical specialties, promoting comprehensive care.
  • Review, monitor, and evaluate staff and work products, providing training and guidance as needed.
  • Prepare the budget for dental program, ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Order and maintain dental equipment and supplies, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Prepare written reports of dental services rendered by the program, providing valuable insights.
  • Ensure that fully documented records of all dental procedures performed are maintained, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Perform the full range of supervisory duties, including staff management and development.
  • May participate in the development of policies and procedures related to dental services, contributing to the growth and improvement of the program.
Requirements
  • License and current registration to practice dentistry in the State of New York.
  • Three years of full-time post-licensure dentistry experience, with one year in a supervisory capacity in a dental healthcare setting.
  • All proof must be submitted with the application.
