Job Summary

Job Title: Shift Supervisor

Job Summary: As a Shift Supervisor with Compass Group Careers, you will be responsible for leading a team of associates during a specific shift, ensuring that assigned job expectations are completed while maintaining policy and procedure. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to evaluate performance, provide training, and create work schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift, ensuring that assigned job expectations are completed while maintaining policy and procedure.
  • Performance Evaluation and Development: Evaluate the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure that the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
  • Employee Relations: Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
  • Mentorship and Development: May act as a mentor, develop employees, and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
