Position Overview
This role at US Derm Support Roles involves the coordination of biologic treatments and patient triage. The schedule is structured from Monday to Friday, ensuring a work-life balance without weekend commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage prior authorization processes and prescription protocols for biologic therapies.
  • Organize patient appointments and provide education on biologic treatments.
  • Engage with patients regarding medication approvals and adherence.
  • Perform phone triage tasks, including handling incoming calls, faxes, and medication inquiries.
  • Work collaboratively with pharmaceutical representatives to guarantee timely medication delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a medical support discipline is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in a medical office setting, with a preference for dermatology.
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in a dynamic office atmosphere.
  • Proficient operation of office technology, including telephones and computers.
  • Capacity to remain seated for prolonged periods.
