About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Imaging Technologist to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a CT Scan Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CT scanners safely and competently, obtaining high-quality images of patients, and providing exceptional patient care. You will also be expected to demonstrate competence in following established scanning protocols and exercising ability to adjust protocols as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners safely and competently to obtain high-quality images of patients.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including preparing examination rooms and monitoring inventory of supplies.
  • Demonstrate competence in following established scanning protocols and exercising ability to adjust protocols as required.
  • Renders patient care in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • BASIC CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT CERTIFICATION WITHIN 30 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT START DATE.
  • REGISTERED RADIOGRAPHER (ARRT) CERTIFICATION.
  • CT TECHNOLOGY CERTIFICATION REQUIRED WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF HIRE.
  • VOCATIONAL SCHOOL GRADUATE.
