Position Summary:

The primary role of the Customer Service Representative (CSR) is to ensure exceptional support for our customers through various communication channels including phone, web, and fax. The CSR team is responsible for assisting clients with order management, providing quotes, handling repairs, processing returns, and delivering product information. Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a collaborative spirit are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls as a top priority, offering a warm and professional greeting to all customers.
  • Accurately process quotes, orders, repairs, and returns in a timely manner.
  • Initiate follow-up calls to customers for order verification and updates.
  • Handle new customer account requests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Stay informed about promotional activities and new product offerings to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Utilize sound judgment to refer customers to appropriate departments for technical assistance.
  • Actively listen to customer needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with both new and existing customers through exemplary service.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance customer service delivery.
  • Assist with front desk duties as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Post-secondary education.
  • Experience in general office settings or customer service roles.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods, use hands for various tasks, and communicate effectively. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be necessary.

Work Environment:

The role is typically performed in an office setting with a generally quiet atmosphere.

Work Schedule:

This position typically requires a 40-hour work week, with hours varying between standard business hours.
