LVN Full Time Days Position

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Oceans Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with common, well-defined health problems.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver quality nursing care to assigned patients by collecting data and identifying deviations from normal.
- Accurately document all findings in the patient record and identify expected outcomes based on assessment data.
- Implement nursing care interventions identified in the individualized multidisciplinary treatment plan using accepted standards of practice.
- Conduct specified bedside laboratory tests, wound care, and provide for comfort and assistance in the performance of ADLs.
- Promote the patient's ability to cope, adapt, and/or solve situations related to illness and/or stressors.
- Provide supportive, age-appropriate communication and culturally acceptable interventions and document special needs.
- Administer medications in accordance with facility policies and physician orders.
- Follow up on patient care responsibilities and communicate incomplete assignments and patient needs with other disciplines.
- Utilize nursing knowledge to successfully meet the needs of the facility, patient population, and staff members.
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
- Valid Compact licenses are also acceptable.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- One year of inpatient hospital experience is strongly preferred.
