Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse LVN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one care to our patients in their homes, helping them to recover and thrive in a comfortable and familiar environment.
Responsibilities- Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and well-being.
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies, maintaining accurate and timely documentation in our electronic system.
- Provide health education and training to family members, empowering them to support their loved ones in their recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians, clients, family members, and other staff members to address patient concerns, changes in condition, and other issues that may arise.
- Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state where you will practice.
- Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS.
- TB skin test (current within the last 12 months).
- At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience (preferred but not required).
- Reliable transportation.
