Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Resident to join our Medical Telemetry Unit. As a RN Resident, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of experienced nurses and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Job Summary:The RN Resident will be responsible for providing direct patient care, participating in a residency core curriculum, and establishing and/or revising priorities for patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for learning and professional growth.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Participate in a residency core curriculum, which includes classroom instruction and clinical training.
- Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care, taking into account the acuity of need, patient preference, and resource availability.
- Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk.
- Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
- Document in patients' medical records.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
