As a Club Youth Program Coordinator at Whitmoor Country Club, you will be responsible for planning and executing engaging activities that cater to the needs of our younger members.

About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Family Activities Facilitator. This role involves designing, implementing, and supervising family-friendly events and youth programs, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and engage with members and guests in a professional and friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
  • Assist with event setup, decoration, and safety checks before activities, guaranteeing a smooth and secure experience for everyone involved.
  • Host and participate in pool activities, events, camps, and holiday celebrations, promoting social interaction and fun among children and families.
  • Help parents with check-in and check-out procedures, verifying identification and maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain awareness of and comply with the Club's standards, policies, and regulations, prioritizing the safety and efficiency of our operations.
  • Be knowledgeable of and respect children's allergies and special needs, taking necessary precautions to ensure their comfort and well-being.
  • Exercise good judgment when supervising children and adhere to all rules regarding younger members, upholding our high standards of care and responsibility.
  • Contribute to meal preparation and service for kids, ensuring a positive dining experience for all participants.
  • Communicate effectively with immediate supervisors and colleagues, reporting any unforeseen circumstances and responding appropriately.
  • Ensure the cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of the Kids' Clubs, locking areas securely when not in use.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school education or equivalent, demonstrating your ability to learn and grow with our organization.
  • CPR and First Aid certification, showing your commitment to providing a safe environment for our members.
  • Familiarity with office software, including Outlook, internet applications, and basic equipment operation, enhancing your productivity and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and enthusiasm for working with diverse age groups, allowing you to connect with our members on a deeper level.
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities, enabling you to build relationships with members, guests, and staff.
  • The ability to project your voice and gain attention from young members, ensuring they stay engaged and focused during activities.
  • Familiarity with emergency protocols and procedures, empowering you to respond effectively in unexpected situations.
  • A safe, prudent, and organized approach to work, reflecting our Club's values and commitment to excellence.
  • The capacity to interact effectively with members, guests, and staff from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and education levels, fostering a sense of community and inclusivity.

This role requires:

Typical Working Conditions

This role is performed in an indoor/outdoor setting, within a busy and noisy environment. You can expect exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat/humidity and cool/cold temperatures. The schedule may involve evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates.
