Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our team at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surgeon to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a multidisciplinary team.

About the Role
  • Perform complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and thoracic surgeries.
  • Work collaboratively with cardiologists, pulmonologists, and other specialists to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.
  • Provide patient education and ensure clear communication about procedures, risks, and post-operative care.
  • Promote Houston Methodist's mission of unparalleled patient care through community outreach and engagement.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
  • Valid Texas medical license (or eligibility to obtain one).
  • 3-5 years of post-fellowship experience in cardiothoracic surgery.
  • Proven expertise in advanced surgical techniques and minimally invasive approaches is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
