Job Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist is a key member of the St. Luke's University Health Network team, responsible for providing support and guidance to employees and managers across the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including policy interpretation and compliance.
  • Assist with HR priorities, including special projects, in Employee Relations, Recruiting, Training, and other HR support areas as needed.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee data, including EEO-1 reports.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Psychology.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a related Human Resources field.
  • Knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Human Resources Certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Working Conditions:

This role requires sitting for up to six hours per day, standing for up to five hours per day, and walking for up to three hours per day. The ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds is also required.
