Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Coordinator to oversee the financial operations within our skilled nursing facility. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our billing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the facility's accounts receivable operations.
  • Record daily cash collections and ensure deposits are made to the correct accounts.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with patients and their families regarding billing and payment for services rendered.
  • Generate timely and accurate billing for all payer classes based on claims processed by the facility.
  • Review various billing documents including Medicare, Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid.
  • Maintain accurate records of deposits and withdrawals in the Resident Trust.
  • Ensure timely closure of Resident Trust accounts and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Assist in processing Medicaid applications.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with some college or technical training preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in an accounts receivable role within a long-term care environment is preferred. Familiarity with PCC systems is advantageous.
