Position Summary:
The Senior Finance Manager for Risk will serve as a pivotal financial partner within the Risk division. This role encompasses overseeing financial planning and analysis, collaborating with business units to construct business cases, prioritizing investments, managing expenditures, and delivering comprehensive decision-support analytics to aid leadership in operational management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Planning: Establish a trusted partnership with various business units and senior management.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside global and regional teams for budgeting and forecasting, providing recommendations on resource allocation.
  • Insight Development: Generate and present strategic insights regarding business trends and industry relationships.
  • Financial Modeling: Partner with stakeholders to develop business cases and conduct complex financial analyses.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement improvements to enhance decision-making processes.

Financial Oversight:

  • Prepare and analyze the annual business plan.
  • Conduct diagnostics, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting for the Risk division.
  • Assess business drivers and propose strategies for performance enhancement.
  • Design and maintain automated reporting models using Visa's proprietary tools.
  • Monitor investment execution and workforce planning, reporting on business plan adjustments.

This role offers flexibility in work arrangements, allowing for a hybrid model of remote and in-office work. Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. is required for this position.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years with an advanced degree, or 2+ years with a PhD.
  • Preferred: 9+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent advanced degree.
  • Strong business acumen and cross-functional experience.
  • Proven leadership skills in driving financial processes.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

This position may require occasional travel and will be performed in an office setting, necessitating the ability to sit, stand, and communicate effectively.
