Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler to join our team at Aerotek. As an Electromechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for performing complex assembly tasks involving electronic and mechanical components, parts, and modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble complex electronic and mechanical systems, including wiring, component installation, and hand soldering.
  • Rework and repair PWA/PCB's for both through-hole and SMD components.
  • Ensure final assemblies meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate assembly documentation, including serialization logs and traceability records.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance for labeling and identification.
  • Operate reflow ovens, BGA rework stations, solder paste printers, and SMT pick-and-place machines.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on SMT machines.

Requirements:

  • Experience with rework soldering on PWA/PCB's for both through-hole and SMD components.
  • Electromechanical assembly experience.
  • Specific tool knowledge: Soldering Iron, basic shop tools.
  • Ability to follow blueprints/assembly protocols/engineering specifications.
  • Electronic Assembly Certifications (IPC-610, 620, 600).
