ElectroMechanical Assembler 2 Job Summary

At Parker Hannifin Corporation Parker Aerospace Group, we are seeking a skilled ElectroMechanical Assembler 2 to join our team. As an ElectroMechanical Assembler 2, you will be responsible for performing medium electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly work on a production basis. This role requires semi-repetitive to repetitive-type work, and you will be expected to make simple decisions while following well-established precedents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform intermediate spool wrapping, cable handling, and testing techniques.
  • Assemble and test cable harnesses and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Assemble small mechanical parts and apply torque requirements.
  • Perform fiber optic terminations, polishing, and testing.
  • Read and comprehend basic blueprints and work instructions.
  • High voltage potting and testing.

Requirements
  • A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 3+ years of related electronics assembly experience is preferred.
  • J-STD-001 Certification is preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to operate winding/braiding machinery, torque wrenches, digital multi-meters, up to 12kv Hypot, solder irons, cutters, wire strippers, crimpers, heat guns, and common hand tools.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook).
