Shift: 1st (5am - 1:30pm)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electronics/ Electromechanical Assembler/Technician to join our team at 22nd Century Technologies. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing heavy electronic and electromechanical subassembly and assembly work.

This is a high-variable type of job that requires advanced understanding of ESD controls, epoxy mixing, bonding, painting, and assembly techniques. You will work under minimum supervision and be responsible for the outcome of projects and tasks assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advanced harness cables assembly
  • Advanced PCB assembly
  • Advanced heat shrinking
  • Lacing cord assembly
  • Masking, de-masking, and advanced wire winding
  • Humiseal (dunk/spray) and spray paint application
  • Epoxy and bonding techniques
  • Labeling and ink marking
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and 6+ years related experience and/or training
  • J-STD-001 Certification preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations
  • Ability to communicate in English
Tools/Equipment Used:
  • Solder irons, cutters, wire strippers, crimpers, and heat guns
Physical/Mental Demands:
  • Light Work
