Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Stepdown Nurse to join our team at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital. As a Cardiac Stepdown Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Perform various medical procedures, including inserting IV lines and administering medications.
Requirements
  • Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
  • BLS certification required.
  • One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
