Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital Job Description

The ideal candidate for this position will be a Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Cardiac Stepdown environment.



Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to patients with a variety of cardiac conditions, including heart failure, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmias.



Key responsibilities will include:



  • Assessing patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families


Requirements:

To be considered for this role, the candidate must possess:



  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • One year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a Cardiac Stepdown unit
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferred
  • Advanced certification in a related field, if applicable
