Job Summary

Quick Hire Staffing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Setup and Maintenance

Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Emergency Repairs

Perform emergency repairs on machines, equipment, and plant facilities during production, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.

Preventive Maintenance

Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities, extending their lifespan and reducing maintenance costs.

Technical Expertise

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required repairs, maintenance, and service, demonstrating a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting

Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments on machines and equipment, using your analytical skills to resolve complex issues.

Multi-Skilled

Perform a variety of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry functions, demonstrating versatility and adaptability in a fast-paced production environment.

Compliance and Safety

Complete hot work permits and ensure compliance with safety protocols, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements
  • Education and Certification

Trade school certification as an Industrial/Electrician/Millwright or Industrial/Mechanic is required.

Experience and Skills

A minimum of three (3) years of maintenance experience as a Maintenance Technician within a manufacturing environment is required. You must possess a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Permits and Licenses

A Powdered Industrial Truck Permit and Aerial Work Permit are required.
