Position Overview

Technical Source is in search of an experienced Instrumentation & Metrology Specialist to join a dynamic team within a leading pharmaceutical organization.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expertise in metrology, instrumentation, and control systems for manufacturing utilities and laboratory apparatus across the facility.
  • While the primary focus will be on instrument calibration and equipment control support, collaboration with the maintenance team may also be required.
  • The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of GMP instrumentation and controls.
  • Demonstrate a readiness to assist with general maintenance tasks and work alongside various departments as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical discipline is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred, or equivalent military experience.
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in Metrology, Instrumentation, or Calibration is essential.
  • 3-7 years of experience with Quality Systems in a pharmaceutical setting is required.
  • Certification in Instrumentation Technical Training (ISA-CCST) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Training in electrical safety NFPA-70E (144 hours of formal instruction on electrical safety, electrical systems, electronics) is preferred.
