Job Overview:

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the property operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that aligns with the mission and vision of EastLake Church.

Supervision Received:

This role reports to the Property Specialist and requires authorization for significant projects, changes, or repairs that exceed budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage five critical areas for the campus: vendor relations, problem resolution, project management, budget oversight, and staff supervision.
  2. Facilitate smooth operations for weekly ministry activities.
  3. Assist with maintenance and repairs for preschool facilities as required.
  4. Lead and develop a team of full-time and part-time facilities personnel responsible for setup, cleanup, and security for all church events.
  5. Oversee external vendor contracts for property maintenance, including cleaning services, landscaping, and HVAC systems.
  6. Address urgent and preventative maintenance issues promptly.
  7. Monitor and manage the facilities budget to ensure financial accountability.
  8. Build and nurture a ministry team using established leadership principles.

Additional Duties:

Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Working Conditions:

Primarily on-site during work hours with some flexibility as agreed upon with the supervisor. Basic maintenance skills are essential to ensure the property remains in optimal condition.
