Job Title: VDI Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled VDI Engineer to join our team at ENS Solutions. As a VDI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex Citrix XenDesktop and NetScaler solutions in a large Enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Microsoft infrastructure solutions, including Azure Virtual Desktop, on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders to address technical considerations for problems, issues, or conflicts.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for VDI solutions, processes, and procedures related to engineering projects.
  • Provide Tier 3 and above support, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Manage Citrix products, including Virtual Apps, Virtual Desktops, ADC, and Provisioning.
  • Operate and execute scripting skills in PowerShell or Python.
Requirements:
  • HS diploma or GED and 12+ years of experience with supporting IT projects and activities, or equivalent.
  • Experience performing engineering work associated with the design, development, maintenance, and testing of infrastructure for desktop application packaging and deployment technologies.
  • Knowledge of Citrix XenApp, AppLayering, and/or Enterprise Layer Manager (ELM).
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Clustering Failover.
  • Knowledge of cloud, networking, and enterprise architectures.
  • Expertise in the Windows 10 area, including Standard Operating Environment (SOE), imaging, and evergreen.
  • Active TS/SCI and willingness to obtain CI Poly.
Preferred Certifications:
  • CWS-215: Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 Administration On-Premises and in Citrix Cloud.
  • Azure.
