About the RoleThis PRN position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you can practice to the top of your profession in trauma, cardiology, stroke, neurosciences, breast imaging, cancer/oncology care, surgery, and more. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of radiology.
Responsibilities- Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
- Perform high-quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs.
- Follow standards of safe radiation practice.
- Demonstrate leadership abilities and serve as a role model for other associate technologists.
- Act as a clinical resource to students, staff technologists, and other hospital personnel.
- Assure current standards of practice for the unit.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging, including Surgery and Trauma.
- One year post-certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers.
- HS diploma or GED required.
- Registered Technologist, Radiology-R.T. (R) (ARRT) required.
- Current Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required.
