Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Roadside Driver to join our team at AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah. As a Roadside Driver, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members by responding to roadside assistance calls and performing various tasks such as towing, battery service, and fuel delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and operate a service vehicle to respond to roadside assistance calls and perform tasks such as towing, battery service, and fuel delivery.
  • Interact with customers to establish rapport, build relationships, and provide problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
  • Utilize on-board computer, radio communications, and mapping systems to navigate and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Complete daily paperwork, including call logs, battery invoices, and cash receipts.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • 21 years old or older.
  • Two years of experience in a customer contact role.
  • Education and training in automotive repair or a related field.
  • ASE Certification preferred.
Work Environment

As a Roadside Driver, you will work outdoors in various weather conditions and traffic situations. You will be required to lift and carry tires and parts, weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in all weather conditions.

Starting rates vary by region, ranging from $20.00 to $24.50 hourly, with potential to earn up to an additional $1,300 per month with quality and productivity incentives.
