Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Provider to join our team at AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah. As a Roadside Assistance Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members by driving and operating a service vehicle, performing diagnostics and troubleshooting, and offering products and services from AAA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and operate a service vehicle to provide roadside assistance to AAA members
  • Perform simple diagnostics and troubleshooting on vehicles
  • Offer products and services from AAA to members during service interactions
  • Utilize on-board computer, radio communications, and mapping systems
  • Complete daily paperwork, including call logs, battery invoices, and cash receipts
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
  • 21 years old
  • Two years of experience in a customer contact role
  • Education and training in automotive repair or a related field
  • ASE Certification preferred
Work Environment

Works outdoors at vehicle sites, lifting and carrying tires and parts, weighing up to 50 pounds, several times a day. Works in all weather and traffic conditions.

Starting rates vary by region, ranging from $20.00 to $24.50 hourly, with potential to make up to an additional $1,300 per month with quality and productivity incentives.
