The RoleThe Vendor Management Office (VMO) is a critical function within our Network, Engineering, Technology & Security (NETS) organization. As a Lead IT Systems Analyst, you'll partner with internal stakeholders to manage software and services suppliers, ensuring that our business needs are met and risks are mitigated. You'll work on a portfolio of software entitlements worth over $50 million, applying industry best practices to maintain an effective corporate software licensing position.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and improve best practices for software asset management, automating tasks to improve efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Establish internal processes to measure and document software license asset usage.
- Lead complex data analysis and verification projects to ensure license compliance and optimize renewals.
- Manage large and complex license audit efforts, ensuring alignment with contract rights and best practices.
- Analyze vendors' software terms and conditions to determine alignment with business and user requirements.
We're seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in business, finance, or a related field. You'll have 3-5 years of experience in software asset management, contract analysis, and data analysis. You'll be proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and other relevant tools. A bachelor's degree is required, and a master's degree is a plus. We're looking for a self-directed and creative problem solver who can lead and work in a team environment.
Preferred QualificationsExperience managing complex software contracts and licensing for major industry vendors is a plus. Familiarity with software management-related tools such as Flexera Net Management Suite (FNMS) and Flexera AppBroker is also desirable. A Software Asset Manager Certification (SAM) is preferred.
CompensationThe starting salary for this role varies based on location, with a range of $94,420 to $145,770. This position is eligible for short-term incentives or sales compensation, and director and VP positions are eligible for long-term incentive.
