Position Overview
The Clinical Education Instructor will play a crucial role in facilitating student engagement and ensuring effective educational delivery across various clinical and laboratory settings. This position requires adherence to established course outlines and competencies as defined in the syllabus.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and evaluate student performance in clinical, laboratory, and simulated environments.
- Maintain open lines of communication with students through various channels.
- Attend all scheduled classes and responsibilities punctually, notifying appropriate personnel in case of conflicts.
- Ensure that educational spaces are maintained in a clean and organized manner.
Professional Development
- Participate in orientation programs and mentorship initiatives for new faculty.
- Develop and maintain a professional growth plan with academic leadership.
- Engage in faculty meetings and training sessions as required.
- Stay updated on industry standards, including licensure and continuing education.
Administrative Duties
- Accurately record and submit attendance and grading in compliance with institutional policies.
- Communicate with students regarding attendance and engagement in learning activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues in exam preparation and grading processes.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and assessment of instructional quality.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure.
- Master's degree in Nursing is required.
- Experience demonstrating knowledge of nursing practices and student mentorship.
- Proficient in educational methodologies relevant to teaching assignments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
