IT Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide fundamental subject matter expertise, guidance, and technical support to users.
- Act as the first level of support and help desk function for staff.
- Manage routine incidents, triage calls, and escalate calls as necessary.
- Collaborate with support members to resolve complex problems.
- Document and share issue-related knowledge.
- Operate effectively with close supervision and communicate well with management.
- Occasionally work on projects.
- Provide 24x7 on-call support to resolve critical system issues.
- Basic understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and networking.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and AD Administration.
- Familiarity with Azure and Azure Active Directory.
- Experience with Office 365 and Office 365 Applications.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Ability to work beyond a 40-hour work week, including weekends as needed.
- Travel as required.
- High School diploma required.
- Customer service experience a plus.
- Technical Certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Network + are preferred.
- Some experience in customer service or IT support is helpful.
