Job Title: IPV-FAIR Team Leader

Program Overview:
The IPV-FAIR Team Leader is responsible for providing comprehensive services to adult caregivers and their children who have been referred by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) for issues related to intimate partner violence.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct services to adult caregivers and their children, including evaluations, treatment plans, and treatment.
Develop and implement treatment plans that may include psychotherapy and clinically required support services, such as translation, transportation, advocacy, and linkage to other needed services.
Provide community-based outreach and treatment services in various settings, including agency offices, client homes, schools, shelters, and police stations.
Lead weekly clinical team meetings and maintain contact with families requiring this service, including daily home visits and home-based therapies.

Qualifications:
Commitment to the IPV-FAIR model.
Graduate degree in human services or a related field and at least 2 years of experience working with children and families exposed to IPV.
Ability to work with diverse individuals and exercise discretion and maintain client and employee confidentiality.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, as well as a valid CT driver's license, reliable transportation, and valid auto insurance.
Valid CT License in Clinical field issued by the DPH and familiarity with Word, e-mail, and Internet, with Excel preferred.

Working Conditions:
Requires working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Work is performed in an office environment, the community, and client homes, with extensive travel to client homes and throughout the community.
Involves exposure to tobacco smoke, domestic animals, household pests, and other conditions common to domestic environments.
Frequent contact with staff and non-staff, including client families, referents, and staff from other community agencies.
