Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Orthopedic team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of our orthopedic services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of orthopedic conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and procedural interventions
  • Collaborate with our orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our orthopedic services
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on orthopedic conditions and treatment options
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Colorado
  • Experience in orthopedic care, preferably in a hospital or ambulatory setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Orthopedic experience, preferably in a hospital or ambulatory setting
  • Certification in orthopedic care, such as the Orthopedic Certified Nurse Practitioner (OCNP) or the Physician Assistant in Orthopedic Surgery (PAOS)
