Creative Arts Therapist for Seniors

Position Summary: We are seeking additional Expressive Therapists to enhance our interdisciplinary team. Our focus is on providing innovative therapeutic services to clients facing cognitive challenges, atypical dementias, and mental health concerns.

Role of Expressive Therapy: Introduced a few years ago, Expressive Therapy has proven to be a vital resource for clients who may not respond well to conventional talk therapy, particularly those dealing with anxiety and depression. We welcome applicants with backgrounds in Expressive Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, Art Therapy, or Music Therapy.

Qualifications: A Master's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for candidates holding an LMHC. Candidates with a Master's in an unrelated field must possess CAGS training in Expressive Arts Therapy.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-person therapeutic sessions in clients' homes or facilities.
  • Develop customized programming tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Utilize creative methods to promote well-being and enhance the overall health of clients.

Work Schedule: This position offers flexible hours that can be adjusted to fit your availability.

Compensation: Pay is competitive at $60.00 per hour, based on experience and ability to design effective therapeutic interventions.
