Job Summary

This position is responsible for managing client accounts to provide accurate and timely information. The Account Adjuster will perform daily functions related to collections, customer service, and administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contact customers and customer references to resolve account issues
  • Process repossessions and review skip trace information
  • Perform miscellaneous duties related to collections and administration
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations
Requirements
  • Answer and relay incoming and outgoing telephone calls in a professional manner
  • Effectively communicate in formal and informal situations
  • Check email and voicemail, respond or forward communication as applicable
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Perform general office duties such as typing and operating office machines
  • Research and investigate customer accounts using skip trace and other resources
Skills and Qualifications
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate
  • Three to five years of experience in commercial collections and/or customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer interaction skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities
  • Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Good leadership and diplomacy skills
  • Team player with a willingness to adapt in challenging situations
  • Competent computer skills
