Job Summary

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Psychologist Supervisor to lead the Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI) program at Eastern State Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive treatment and support to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with treatment teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for NGRI patients
  • Conduct risk assessments and evaluations to inform treatment decisions
  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to other NGRI psychologists
  • Support the NGRI Forensic Coordinator in reviewing reports, assessing court testimony, and facilitating group supervision
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology
  • Licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Completion of forensic training through the ILPPP
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
