Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: A degree in Culinary Arts complemented by a minimum of ten years of relevant industry experience.
  • Professional Experience: Proven expertise in food cost management, culinary demonstrations, menu design, and client billing.
  • Certification: Must hold a Certified Culinary Educator designation from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
  • Teaching Experience: At least ten years of experience as a Culinary Arts Instructor.
  • Food Safety Certification: Current Serv Safe Certification, with renewal every five years.
  • Professional Affiliations: Membership in recognized culinary organizations such as The American Culinary Federation or similar.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide the selection of instructional materials and recommend resources to enhance the Culinary Arts curriculum.
  • Deliver instructional sessions as necessary and model effective teaching strategies.

Additional Duties:
