**Role Overview:**
The Customer Service Representative position is essential to our operations, directly reporting to the Senior Dispatch Supervisor.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Process customer orders received via phone, ensuring accurate completion of order forms while providing detailed product information and pricing.
- Address customer requests by clarifying information needs, completing transactions, and forwarding inquiries as necessary.
- Identify opportunities to promote additional services, effectively communicating new features to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Respond to customer inquiries by gathering and providing the necessary information.
- Resolve customer issues by identifying problems, researching solutions, and implementing effective resolutions, while escalating unresolved matters as needed.
- Maintain and enhance job knowledge through participation in educational opportunities.
- Perform data entry for customer orders using Command Alkon software systems.
- Contribute to the organization’s reputation by taking ownership of new and diverse requests, exploring ways to add value to job performance.
- Complete other duties and assignments as required.
**Essential Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Proficient computer skills, including documentation and system functionality.
- Strong listening, written, and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Capability to draft routine correspondence.
- Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, proportions, percentages, and basic algebra and geometry.
- Common sense understanding to execute instructions in various formats.
- Dependable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced call center environment.
- Professional and tactful interaction with both internal and external customers.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
