**Role Overview:**

The Customer Service Representative position is essential to our operations, directly reporting to the Senior Dispatch Supervisor.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Process customer orders received via phone, ensuring accurate completion of order forms while providing detailed product information and pricing.
  2. Address customer requests by clarifying information needs, completing transactions, and forwarding inquiries as necessary.
  3. Identify opportunities to promote additional services, effectively communicating new features to enhance customer satisfaction.
  4. Respond to customer inquiries by gathering and providing the necessary information.
  5. Resolve customer issues by identifying problems, researching solutions, and implementing effective resolutions, while escalating unresolved matters as needed.
  6. Maintain and enhance job knowledge through participation in educational opportunities.
  7. Perform data entry for customer orders using Command Alkon software systems.
  8. Contribute to the organization’s reputation by taking ownership of new and diverse requests, exploring ways to add value to job performance.
  9. Complete other duties and assignments as required.

**Essential Qualifications:**

  1. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  2. Proficient computer skills, including documentation and system functionality.
  3. Strong listening, written, and verbal communication abilities.
  4. Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
  5. Capability to draft routine correspondence.
  6. Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, proportions, percentages, and basic algebra and geometry.
  7. Common sense understanding to execute instructions in various formats.
  8. Dependable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced call center environment.
  9. Professional and tactful interaction with both internal and external customers.
  10. Bilingual skills are a plus.
